2026 and Beyond: A Year of Unity, Service, and Filipino Pride in the UK

We welcome 2026 with grateful hearts, stronger bonds, and shared hope for the days ahead. For our Filipino UK Nurse Community, 2025 was more than just another year—it was a season of connection, growth, and meaningful moments that brought us closer together.

When we look back, one of the highlights was our Sama Summer Get-Together 2. It wasn’t just an event—it felt like coming home. Under the summer sun, we laughed, played games, shared stories, made new friends, and reconnected with familiar faces. It reminded us that beyond our uniforms and long shifts, we are family—bound by culture, care, and genuine support for one another.

Our Quiz Nights became something many of us looked forward to. After long and tiring days, they gave us space to relax, laugh, and simply enjoy each other’s company. Yes, the raffles and prizes were exciting, but what truly mattered was the sense of belonging and togetherness we felt every time.

Throughout 2025, we were also grateful to facilitate various activities made possible by the warm support of our kabayans across the UK. With the guidance and encouragement of Manong George and the team, these moments reflected what our community stands for—lifting one another up, giving everyone a voice, and staying connected wherever we are.

As the year unfolded, we shared many joyful moments and stood side by side through challenges. We witnessed simple yet powerful acts of kindness that truly captured the spirit of bayanihan—a value that continues to live in the heart of our community.

Now, as we step into 2026, we’re excited for what’s ahead. We look forward to more gatherings, another lively Summer event, and many more opportunities to laugh, reconnect, and create new memories together. We’re hopeful for a year filled with moments that bring warmth, comfort, and unity to our community.
